The ostomy support group is here for patients who have had or will have an intestinal or urinary diversions including urostomy, cystectomy, colostomy and ileostomy. The Baptist Health System ostomy support group is a satellite group of the American Cancer society in connection with the Ostomy Association of South Texas.

The group offers education, support and encouragement. Ostomy nurses from the community attend and offer their expertise to the group.

The group meets on the 3rd Sunday of every month at Northeast Baptist Hospital, in the classroom on the 1st floor (by elevator A) at 3pm.
