Driving Health Forward

Baptist Health System, in partnership with BCFS is "Driving Health Forward" with a new Mobile Health Unit that offers free community health screenings in San Antonio and the surrounding neighborhoods.

The unit is staffed by a Registered Nurse and a driver, and staffing may also include additional health professionals depending on the event. Screenings will be offered at community health and wellness fairs, senior centers, corporate wellness events, churches, school events, community centers, retail or hospital parking lots, etc.  See the Screenings Calendar to find out where the Mobile Health Unit will be next or request the Mobile Health Screening Unit at your next event.

Basic free screenings include:

• Cholesterol
• Glucose
• Blood pressure
• Body Mass Index
  
• Risk assessments for heart disease, stroke, diabetes
